Our Work

Aubrey believes an iconic classic car is an investment worth looking after, but most importantly, one that should be used and enjoyed.

Our bespoke restorations ensure that automotive icons and everyday vehicles are restored to ‘better than new’ condition, whilst keeping their period look and ‘old’ soul. We work hand-in-hand with our clients from the provision of a base vehicle, to the finished product; and throughout every step in between.

Noting today’s ever-changing technology - especially within the automotive sector - we take great care to sympathetically improve our classic vehicles with modern upgrades and modifications that appeal not only to today’s generation, but also, hopefully, to those to come.

Every single element of an Aubrey commission is painstakingly restored or replaced for new by our team of dedicated craftsmen, experts, and artisans; totalling over 1,000 combined hours. We reimagine and restore only a handful of select vehicles per year.

Aubrey 001 was commissioned for life in Switzerland, 1,200m above sea level in the Alps - she has been designed to adapt to dramatic seasonal weather conditions, from deep snow to sweltering summer sun. 001’s family commissioned the build to compliment their active and adventurous lifestyle, so she comes complete with three-different roof configurations, a removable 6-point fully-fitted MSUK certified roll cage, bespoke ski rack and bicycle rack, drinks cabinet, and roof rack, for local activities and international expeditions.

At the heart of the process, 001 has undergone a full nut-and-bolt restoration; including a full body restoration, bare metal respray in a striking shade of ‘70s orange, LHD conversion, power steering upgrade, fitted overdrive, full engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild, new brakes and suspension, new galvanised chassis and bulkhead, upgraded lights, bespoke Connolly leather interior with 6 fully heated seats, heated windscreen, hidden Apple CarPlay, discrete modern speaker system, Aubrey-engineered removable B-pillars, and wenge wood interior decking and drinks cabinet.

Built for: the Surrey Hills

Blending ‘80s nostalgia and modern practicality, Aubrey 002 was commissioned by an active family in Surrey, England, to become their trusted daily driver and occasional off-road adventurer.

Completed by our team of artisans and engineers, Aubrey 002 has undergone a full body and mechanical restoration, starting with a meticulously stripped and restored chassis. In addition, we gave 002 a stylish aesthetic overhaul, with a full body respray in a rare factory option Cypress Green metallic, widened and reconditioned silver wheels, Hella spotlights, green top-tinted front windscreen, and bespoke canvas spare wheel cover.

Inside, we chose to keep plenty of the original grey cloth check interior for that iconic ‘80s feel, with added period-correct Recaro front seats, a bespoke Italian suede dash and centre console, handmade American Burr Walnut fascias, period-look stereo, speakers, green seatbelts, and Wilton velvet carpet throughout.

Aubrey 002 is also equipped with a brand-new braking system, upgraded suspension, tow bar, and a detachable roof rack and tent allowing for exciting off-road expeditions.
